Rock of Ages.

Today’s song for #MusicMonday is “Rock of Ages” by Charlie Hall. Take a listen. (And sorry for the small video… can’t believe there’s not a better version on YouTube!)

I had a theology professor in college who always commented that he felt the song “Rock of Ages” was the most theologically rich and beautiful song ever written. That’s mighty high praise. But it’s a beautiful song of our faith that evokes so much great imagery. It speaks very honestly and accurately about our sin problem. But it also speaks strongly to the depths and the power of God’s grace for us. It’s a beautiful song… spend some time reflecting on the lyrics today!
