We’ve got another new Digital Age song for #MusicMonday this week (sorry for putting everyone reading this on “Digital Age overload” recently). It’s a song called “Believe.” Watch it below!

Kind of a different feel for what you might consider a typical worship song, isn’t it? For me, the structure and key of the song almost evoke this mystical and somber, reflective feeling typical of Christians in ages past. Against that setting comes a song that simply lays out some of the foundational truths of the Christian faith, affirmed first by Scripture, and captured beautifully in creeds, songs, and hymns from the beginning of Christendom. A couple of the things captured in this song are that God is triune, three in One. Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. Jesus was, still is, and is to come (return).

As you listen to this song today, I hope it affirms in you some of those foundational truths in the faith. I hope it also causes some pause for reflection in you as well; what do all these things mean? Are there things about God I’ve believed wrongly? Are there things about my faith I need to start clinging to that I haven’t before? All great questions. All worth our consideration, and I hope potentially spurred in us by this song today. Happy listening!
