We Will Run.

Today’s song for #MusicMonday is one called “We Will Run,” by the band Gungor. Check it out in the video below! (I’d recommend you listening to the whole thing, but for all intensive purposes, the song ends around 4:45.)

Not a ton to say on this song here today, other than simply it’s a beautiful picture of repentance. With lyrics seemingly ripped straight out of Psalm 51, this song generates in me a heart and spirit that is both (a) readily aware of who I am before God and (b) thankful for God’s mercy and grace in the midst of my sin. Suncrest, it’s my hope today that we might be a church that runs toward and pursues our heavenly Father, knowing that he is slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness to us, his people (Exodus 34:6).

Suncrest//Highland Campus Pastor. But more importantly, 26th place finisher in the 2013 Highland Jack o' Lantern Jog 5k.
