Buried In the Grave.

Today’s #musicmonday will be a little more low-key, with an acoustic offering from All Sons and Daughters called “Buried in the Grave.”

This song just felt appropriate to post today, given that over the past couple weeks (yesterday at Highland and St. John, a week ago at Hobart) our church has really grappled with the issue of where we find God when rough stuff happens in our lives and in our world. I really hope you enjoy it. I find that in tough times, the line about holding on to God’s promise like a thread rings especially true. If the gospel really is true, if Jesus really did take our sin, and if we really do have life through Christ rising from the dead, then we have hope. In light of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, our lives have a weird way of making sense. I hope if you’re facing something difficult today, that you might discover or be reminded of that truth too.
