What’s Next?

So, in case you were living under a rock, something pretty cool happened at Suncrest this weekend.

We got to see a ton of people give their lives to Christ in baptism! Speaking as a pastor who got to baptize each person at our campus, it was pretty amazing. Life change was happening everywhere as people all over Suncrest’s three campuses were discovering new life this Easter!883881_608730189155103_1362645679_o

But that can lead to a simple (yet, very good) question: What’s next?

Now that I’ve made the decision to become a follower of Christ, now what?

WhatsNextKit_quarterpageIf you made that decision this weekend, your campus pastor will be following up with you somehow. But a great resource that you can also check out in the meantime (or in addition to all the other follow-up) is a website called What’s Next Kit. You can access it by clicking here or going to whatsnextkit.tv. This is an entire website crammed full of videos and other helpful resources that are designed to encourage you to take next steps with your faith, whether that’s learning about prayer, how to read the Bible, plugging in at church, or something else entirely. It’s very interactive and easy to use; you just watch a few videos! The website’s also a great case study for those of you who have been followers of Christ for a while; it could be a great way to brush up on the basics.

Again, nothing beats the follow up and next steps that come from plugging into community and getting into relationships with other Christ followers who are farther along and can help guide you down the path. But this is another great place to start! I hope it’s helpful to you as you continue your journey with Christ!
