All My Fountains.

Today’s #MusicMonday is a fun little trip down memory lane – I was actually present at the conference where today’s song video was shot (if you look really closely, maybe you can see me… I’m probably the one struggling to do the cool clapping pattern). It’s a song called All My Fountains by Chris Tomlin.

One of the things I believe God is constantly seeking to remind us of is that there is no life apart from him. Recently in my own quiet time, I read through John 4 where Jesus approaches the Samaritan woman at the well. In verses 13 and 14, Jesus makes the statement that he is the living water, and that all who drink from him will never thirst again. This eventually leads to a conversation where Jesus eventually reveals to this woman that he is the Son of God, and the rest is history.

I believe that Jesus is constantly wanting to redirect our attention back to him. He is the source of life for us, and we will find true joy only in him. Allow this song to happily redirect you today and to turn our attention and affection toward Him!
