The Daily.

So, this week, I stumbled upon a new little resource that is pretty cool in helping grow my relationship with Jesus. It’s actually sort of related to last week’s post (you can read that here), in the sense that it’s from the same church, Crossroads Community in Cincinnati (my homeland haha).

Anyway, this little nifty resource is called “The Daily.” It’s basically a brief devo that you can go through each weekday, sent either to your e-mail account or your RSS Feed, if you are so inclined. Each day, the Daily starts by asking you to pray a simple one or two sentence prayer asking God to lead and guide you in that day’s study. After that, you are given a passage to read from the Bible, a paragraph or so of material for you to reflect on based on that reading, and then some sort of response you are asked to think and pray through. The Daily even comes with a plan to read the New Testament through in a year so you can embark on that exercise if you’d like as well.

It’s a very simple thing to sign up for that can be an extremely helpful way for you to get your day started. Click here to be taken to the main page for The Daily, and you’ll see the option to sign up either for the e-mail subscription or RSS feed. There’s even a link you can click on that has a few tips for helping you get the most out of the experience.

It’s a great resource… if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to spend 10-15 minutes with God over the course of your day, I would highly recommend it!
