Marriage… and a Resource That Could Help Make Yours Better!

Well, I want to take a few minutes on here to promote an upcoming event for Cultivate, and that is our marriage seminar, happening on March 4-5 at Suncrest’s Saint John Campus.

Marriage, when done right, can be without a doubt the most incredible, transformational relationship that we could ever experience with another person. Marriage is something that is meant to be incredible… that is how God created it!

I probably don’t have to tell you, though, that in our culture the value of marriage and family is on the rocks. Over the past few decades, divorce rates have skyrocketed to around 50%, a number that is exactly the same whether you are talking about marriage in Christian circles or non-Christian circles. Apparently, a lot of us aren’t quite equipped with the tools to make a marriage healthy and successful. And beyond just staying married, we want marriages that thrive! Ones that are great!

Creating an awesome marriage isn’t something that will just happen overnight. It will take work. But this upcoming marriage seminar will definitely equip you with some great places to start, and hopefully encourage some great conversations between you and your spouse for how to make your marriage the best it can be. This seminar isn’t simply for those who feel like their marriage is in crisis… it’s also for people who just want to make their marriages better! And that could be anyone.

So if you’re interested, please go ahead and sign up! Cost is $48 per couple. Contact Kay at if you’d like to sign up, or if you’d just like more info.

Suncrest//Highland Campus Pastor. But more importantly, 26th place finisher in the 2013 Highland Jack o' Lantern Jog 5k.
